• Five restaurants – Buffet, Italian, Cuban, seafood, and beach grill
• Poolside drink service
• Four bars including a beach bar and a pool swim-up bar
• Water sports – catamaran, banana boat, pedal boats, kayaks, hobbie cats (supervised), and water skiing included
• Three tennis courts and a squash court
• Free scuba diving (two dives per day)
• Free scuba lessons in the pool
• Two computers available for quests

Travelers loved …

• Fantastic sand beach with crystal clear water
• Great food, especially for Cuba
• Good quality alcohol
• Lots of beach chairs and umbrellas
• Very clean, spacious rooms
• Large balconies
• Bathrobes provided
• Drinks served in real glasses (other than at the beach bar)

Some travelers disliked …

• Mostly Spanish television
• Not very lively at night
• Very slow internet
• Sewer smell around resort
• Refrigerators not stocked with beer and pop if booked at “Standard level”

Tips for staying at Sandals Cuba:

• Try the striploin at the El Caribe (Cuban restaurant)
• Do the day trip into Havana (a 2.5 hour drive)
• Don’t miss the seafood night (it was on Tuesdays) and get there early if you want lobster
• Bring mosquito repellent for the evening
• Wifi is strongest in the lobby
• A key card is required in a slot for the hyrdo to work in the room (even the refrigerator), in order to have the air conditioning on while you’re out either leave one key card in the slot or use a substitute card (ex. Store points card)
• Exchange rate at the resort was slightly better than at the airport
• If you exchange money at the hotel count it as many travellers reported underpayments

Cuba All Inclusive Holidays Recommendation

Sandals Cuba is a great adults only all inclusive vacation recommended as a romantic travel destination for couples who just want to relax in the evenings.  It was also noted as having great value for a Sandals resort.  Many travelers also recommended Sandals for all inclusive destination weddings.
