• Some travelers noted a distinct lack of service and lazy watersports attendants who were reluctant to take guests out.

• Lack of screens on windows and mosquitoes coming in if the doors are thrown open.

• Evenings can be fairly quiet despite there being a piano bar and a nightclub.

Tips for Staying at Breezes Grand Lido Jamaica:

• Bring (or buy) an insulated cup to save walking to and fro to the bar when relaxing on the beach.

• The location on Bloody Bay is excellent with soft sand and clear calm waters for non-motorized watersports.

• Reservations are required for both the Piacere and the Japanese restaurant – so it pays to be organized.

• You cannot actually see a sunset from the Breezes Resort Jamaica, so head for Rick’s Café in Negril and enjoy a cocktail, a beautiful sunset, some local reggae and the local cliff divers.

• The best months to visit Jamaica are in the dry season between November and April. However Jamaica vacation packages are still pleasant and warm during the rainy season when heavy afternoon showers quickly pass.

Recommendation:

This high-end resort is definitely adults only, although families with children aged 16+ and groups of friends will enjoy the resort.  It is ideal for couples, anniversaries and, of course, destination weddings with its great free wedding package deals.
